Croydon Youth Offer
Croydon Council is working in partnership with local community and voluntary organisations to reshape the services we offer our young people. We have launched the Integrated Youth Support
Service (IYSS) with an innovative approach to deliver ambitious outcomes for all young people living in the borough. Our aim is to support young people aged 11 to 19 years old to discover and explore their full potential and to take a positive role in the community.
The Croydon Youth Offer recognises the diversity of the borough and it is tailored according to the needs of individual young people and the communities in which they live. We have divided the
borough in to five ‘localities’ that are linked to clusters of schools working together. This will help us make sure services reflect local needs and build effective relationships with local communities.
Locality based commissioning has been established to fund projects undertaken by not for profit
organisations to fulfill and enhance the youth offer in the local area.
